Since I announced the Black Friday deal with Siteground (Which BTW, the 85% off deal is still going on right here!!) I've gotten a few questions about migrating over to Siteground. How do you do it? Is it easy to do? Does it cost money to migrate over? So let's break it down! Migrating is super easy- and you have optionsAll you have to do is put in your desired domain name, and in the second step it'll ask you if you want to start a new site or transfer one over: If you're migrating, you obviously want to choose that option. Next, it's going to ask you which option you want to choose. Doing it yourself or having someone on the team do it for you! Personally, I've done both options and both were easy! If you choose to do it yourself, it's all done with a free plugin you install on your site after setup is over. Or, if you'd rather have them do it, you can choose that too. If you choose the StartUp plan, it costs $30 to do. (Worth it in my opinion to make sure it's done right!) But, if you're looking at the GrowBig or GoGeek Plan, right now with this Black Friday deal, site transfer is free! The GrowBig plan is currently what I have so I can more than one site, but if you only plan to have one site, the StartUp plan is good too! (You'll just have to pay for migration or do it yourself) And that's it! You'll be all set to either start the migration yourself or wait until they do it for you. I honestly didn't have to wait that long to have it done, so I did other blogging stuff while I waited! I've been using SiteGround for years now, and have had 3 sites with them.
